Glitch effect

I made and produced a glitch effect for the interruption in Louis phone call with his informant. I did this by layering clips and adding colour and turning down the opacity and changing the position to give the glitch effect for the scene. This was used to give an almost stalker effect or the effect that someone is following him.

Voice over

In this shot, I added a radio or phone voice for the phone call scene as taking for the phone audio in the scene would seem unrealistic and poorly done so Joe recorded the phone dialogue and pre-edited it to create a modified demonic voice changer coming from the phone.

Title sequence

For this sequence,  I made a small title sequence where I have the name of the edit fade on to the screen with dramatic music playing in the background. This cuts when it reaches the end of the sequence. This was easily done by using one of the default graphics in premier pro.

Music

This effect is the music that was added to the beginning of the previous scene prior to the small opening title sequence. This music fitted well into the scene and was needed due to the scene needing music. This music is used to build tension and suspense for the following scene. 

Fade to black

This effect is a transition to black that is used at the end of the edit to give a gentle end to the footage and to also not have that sudden ending to the footage. I added this effect by using premier pros default effects as well as altering the length of the fade.  

Review of the project

I am most proud of the glitch effect that takes place during the first phone call with Louis as i took the most amount of time to do and also looks like the nicest effect that is in the edit and the effect that I worked on the most.

The most difficult part of the project was the organisation of the group and also the transferring of information between members and sharing work on the google drive. The schedule of the shootings were also a big issue as there was only two days that we could film due to most of the group being unavailable. The script also had some issues from the original as the story was changed after the paperwork was done so we had to redo all of it.

I have learned that the members of the group need to be more communicative between the members of the group and also needed to have work clearly labelled and placed in clear locations on the google drive as well as a clearer plan next time.

For the next project that we will try to recognise the skills and strengths of each member of the group and assign them to their preferred jobs. The director and the script writer were assigned to a job that they may have not been strong at which ended up losing us time and delayed the whole process.

The video will be shared via youtube or via digital download as these methods are effective and the more easier. This is due to the higher quality and having quick access to the video.
